The Buffalo Bills come into the season with some fresh faces starting with new head coach Doug Marrone who was hired shortly after the new year. They will also have a brand new QB under center this season, as they drafted E.J. Manuel with the 16th overall pick in this years’ draft and signed Kevin Kolb to two-year deal worth $13 million. The Bills elected not to make a splash in the free agency frenzy.

Bills’ Off-Season Moves:

Key Additions: Kevin Kolb, (QB, Free Agent), E.J. Manuel, (QB, Drafted),

Key Departures: Ryan Fitzpatrick, (QB, Released; Signed with Tennessee Titans), Tarvaris Jackson, (QB, Released; Signed with Seattle Seahawks).

Biggest Question heading into the season:
Who will be the starting QB in week one against the New England Patriots?

Big E’s Final Thoughts and Predictions:
The Bills are a young team, and with a new head coach and possibly a rookie QB under center, they will most likely struggle this season–which doesn’t mean they will be a bad team, just that they won’t win a lot of games. However, with Doug Marrone as head coach, the Bills will be competitive in most games.

Big E’s Bils Prediction: (5-11) (3rd in AFC East). The Bills will be competitive but won’t win many games– not yet, but just wait, Bills fans. Within a couple of years they will seriously contend for the AFC East title. If Manuel is the franchise QB the Bills hope he is, they will make the playoffs sooner rather than later.
